Day 1 - Gateway to the Clouds: Shillong
Umiam Lake: Stop at this massive, sapphire-blue reservoir (also known as Barapani) on your way from Guwahati for a quick boat ride or to simply soak in the panoramic hill views.
Don Bosco Museum: Explore one of Asia’s largest cultural museums, featuring seven floors that showcase the diverse heritage, costumes, and weapons of the North East Indian tribes.
Police Bazaar: Spend your evening in the heart of Shillong, a bustling hub perfect for trying local Khasi street food like Jadoh and shopping for hand-woven bamboo crafts.
Day 2 - Waterfalls and Canyons of the Khasi Hills
Elephant Falls: Walk down the three-tier mountain stream where the water cascades over fern-covered rocks, offering multiple levels of photography spots.
Laitlum Canyons: Visit the “End of the Hills” for a breathtaking view of deep gorges and winding stairways carved into the mountainside, often draped in thick mist.

Day 4 - Caves and Cascades of Sohra

Seven Sisters Falls: Watch the seven distinct streams of the Nohsngithiang Falls plunge over the limestone cliffs during the golden hour of sunset.

Day 5 - The Living Root Bridges of Nongriat

Day 7 - Blue Lagoons and Farewell
Krang Suri Falls: On your way back, stop at this stunning waterfall in the Jaintia Hills, famous for its deep blue pool and the natural stone walkway behind the falls.
Laitlyngkot Viewpoint: Take a final look at the rolling “Green Meadows” of Meghalaya as you begin your descent toward the plains of Assam.
Departure: Transfer back to Guwahati for your return journey, carrying the scent of pine and the memory of the misty clouds with you.
